What do I get on the free trial, and do I need a card?
No card. Every new account starts on a 30-day trial with the Solo surfaces unlocked — all six workspaces, portfolio import, watchlists and Ask Erina. Importing your book is free during the trial, and the deterministic readouts on your own positions (value, concentration, winners past 20%, harvestable losses, the earnings queue) cost nothing to run. The AI credits that power the LLM workflows come with a paid plan — until you activate one, you explore those workflows on the sample books. When the trial ends the account falls back to Free rather than locking you out, and your data stays put.
Do I have to enter my portfolio before I can see anything?
No. Four sample books ship with the product — Balanced Growth, Income Overlay, Concentrated Winners, and Options-Heavy Hedged — and you can switch between them from the header. Every workspace is fully populated the second you land, so you can judge the reasoning before you trust it with your own positions.
Does Erina place trades?
No. Erina is not connected to a broker and cannot execute anything. Every workflow ends in options you choose between, and choosing one saves it as a tracked recommendation — the order itself is always yours to place, wherever you already trade.
What are AI credits?
Each plan includes a monthly pool. Erina chat answers, generated research, and workflow runs draw from it, and each run shows what it will cost before you press it. Ticker lookups, charts, cached research, and the deterministic detectors on your dashboard spend nothing at all.
Is this investment advice?
No. Erina generates research and structures trades from public data. Nothing on the platform is personalized investment advice, and we are not a registered investment adviser. Every AI output carries that disclaimer inline — the risk disclosures cover the detail.
How do I import my positions?
Four ways: screenshot your broker app and drop the image in (Claude Vision reads tickers, share counts and cost basis, max 4MB), paste the rows as text, upload a broker CSV, or add positions by hand. Screenshot is the fastest — it needs nothing but your phone, no export and no file format to get right. Every import shows you a preview to review before anything is written to your book.
Does importing my portfolio cost credits?
No. Screenshot and paste imports are explicitly exempt from the credit gate while you're on the trial — they're the only two things in the product that are. Getting your book in is deliberately free, so credits you later buy go to analysis rather than data entry.
What if my broker screenshot doesn't show cost basis?
Some mobile apps (Robinhood and Webull among them) don't display it. Erina flags those rows rather than dropping them, and anchors them to today's market price so the position still enters your book — P&L reads zero on those names until you edit the cost, and the app prompts you to. You never lose a position just because the screenshot was incomplete.
Can I switch or cancel plans?
Yes, both from the Account page via the Stripe customer portal. Upgrades apply immediately with proration; downgrades take effect at the end of the cycle you already paid for. Cancelling drops you to Free at period end and keeps your data.
Which markets are covered?
US-listed common stock and ETFs, plus US equity options. Research, workflows, and the scanner all operate on that universe.
